NEW CASTLE, Ind. — New Castle boys basketball achieved a rare feat last season.
The 2020-21 Trojans (9-16) won a sectional title despite going just 7-15 in the regular season, which included a seven-game losing streak from Jan. 29-Feb. 23. Yet New Castle toppled two 17-5 teams for head coach Daniel Cox's second sectional championship at the helm, and the team lost by two points in its regional game against NorthWood.
