MUNCIE, Ind. — No one had to remind Logan Drown or Cameron Levers whose shoes they were expected to fill at middle linebacker this season.
The two stepped into the spots that Brady Pease — Delta's all-time leading tackler with 395 career tackles — and Mason Hunt, who finished with 331 career tackles, held on to for years on the Eagles defense.
But in their first game starting at linebacker on a relatively inexperienced defense, they helped Delta to a 42-0 shutout against Muncie Central to start the season.
