GREENFIELD, Ind. — For three seniors on New Castle's boys golf team — Derek Tabor, Dillon Bergum and Matthew Gerth — the goal heading into this season was to win a sectional title as a team.
The three had been playing golf together since they were in fifth grade, Gerth said. Tabor and Bergum have been playing alongside each other even longer. And, one year after finishing four strokes short of winning a sectional title as juniors, the threesome left little doubt at the Greenfield-Central sectional this season.
