MUNCIE, Ind. — Molly Swift never really left New Castle, but her new job felt like a homecoming of sorts.
Swift was approved by the school board as New Castle's next girls basketball coach on Monday night. A 2010 graduate of the school, Swift played for the Trojans and has been coaching in the system for the last five years.
"The feeling is indescribable, because I don't believe you ever have as much heart as home," Swift told The Star Press Monday night. "It's still a little unbelievable right now. Had I coached anywhere else, though I would've put my all into it, my heart wouldn't have been in it as much as it will be at New Castle.
