NEW CASTLE, Ind. — Last summer, Purdue was one of the first schools that showed interest Corbin Malott. This summer, it was the last one that needed to.
Malott, a rising junior at New Castle, verbally committed to play for the Boilermakers on June 16.
"They were the first school that started looking at me and they seemed really interested in me and you want to go to a place that wants you," Malott said. "Then I went to a camp down there and it was amazing. I just really liked the campus, my brother’s going there and it’s close to home.
