ORLANDO — Last Tuesday was a typical one for Monroe Central football coach John Hochstetler, who was headed to a basketball game for one of his kids. That was, until he received what appeared to be a random phone call from New York City.
That random call had officials from NFL on the other line, who would relay some exciting news, courtesy of former Muncie Central star Ryan Kerrigan.
For the 2018 Pro Bowl, players were asked to invite their former high school coaches to join them at the game. Kerrigan, the Redskins linebacker appearing in his third career Pro Bowl, was coached by Hochstetler when he headed the Bearcats.
