MUNCIE, Ind. — Muncie Central High School has canceled its next two football games at Arsenal Tech (Aug. 18) and versus Harrison (Aug. 25) after a player on the Central team tested positive for COVID-19.
At total of 37 people (32 players, five coaches) have been identified as close contacts to the student, according to a release from Muncie Community Schools.
"Indiana State Department of Health guidelines require close contacts to quarantine for 14 days from their last exposure, which was September 9," the release said. "Barring any additional positive cases, the team will resume practice Sept.
