MUNCIE, Ind. — This summer, Darrick Lee has seen a difference among Muncie Central's players.
Lee, now in year three as the Bearcats' head coach, has seen players step up both inside and outside of practice. When a guy doesn't show up, the players — not the coaches — are the ones holding him accountable, texting him to get him to practices or workouts. When someone's not going as hard as they can be in practice, it's the players who are picking him up.
"It's been great to see," Lee said. "I think with the mix of guys that we have, our culture is really starting to push in the right direction.
