LAKEWOOD RANCH, FLA. -- Hadley Moritz polished off a top-10 finish with her best career 54-hole score and freshman Kiah Parrott led the Ball State women's golf team in Tuesday's final round at the Mid-American Challenge.
Moritz, who opened Monday with consecutive under-par rounds of 71 and 70, closed with a 74 at Lakewood Ranch Country Club. At 1 under par for the tournament, her total score of 215 was five shots better than her previous career best. The junior from Wheaton, Illinois, tied for sixth place for her fifth career top-10.
Parrott's 72 in the final round was the best of any BSU player.
