MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State men's basketball will now have the opportunity to play two games that, earlier this season, had been postponed.
The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday that BSU's Jan. 5 home game against Western Michigan (4-13, 3-9 in MAC) will now be played Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at home, and BSU's Jan. 26 home game against Kent State (13-5, 10-4) will now be played Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at home. The Cardinals had previously missed those two matchups due to COVID-19 complications within their own program. And now Ball State coach James Whitford's squad has six games left on its regular season schedule instead of four.
