The 10th-ranked Ball State men’s volleyball team will travel to Fort Wayne March 16 to take on Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in the “old I-69 rivalry.”
In the last game between the two schools on Feb. 11, the Cardinals (15-5, 8-1 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) swept IPFW (5-12, 0-7 MIVA) in three sets.
In the win, junior outside attacker Mike Scannell led the Cardinals with 10 kills. Sophomore outside attacker Mitch Weiler had eight, followed by senior outside attacker Martin Niemczewski with six. As a unit, Ball State finished with four and a half blocks.
