NEWARK, N.J. -- The No. 15 Ball State (4-3) men’s volleyball team downed NJIT (0-4) in a quick three sets on Friday evening in the midst of its six-match road stretch. In the 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-15) victory, the Cardinals posted a .367 team attack percentage to the Highlanders .138.
The team attack percentage was raised by senior setter Hiago Garchet, who marked a perfect 1.000 paired with one kill on the night, while junior Edgardo Cartagena met the same perfect percentage in addition to earning one kill.
