MUNCIE, Ind.— The quarterfinals of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association kicked off Saturday night with one match hosted inside Worthen Arena. The Ball State men's volleyball team, who is the three seed in the MIVA Tournament, hosted the six seeded McKendree Bearcats. The Cardinals took down McKendree, 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-23), to advance to the next round of the tournament.
Ball State had 42 total kills on 40 assists. The Cardinals hit for .330 while adding 25 total digs. With nine total service aces, Ball State sets a new season high. Ball State also had 7.
