MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State men’s volleyball alumnus Paul Baxter will be a coach for the USA Olympic Beach Volleyball Team at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Baxter, who earned three letters for the Cardinals from 1992-94 and helped guide the program to the 1994 NCAA Tournament, will be making his Olympic coaching debut as the head coach of two beach volleyball pairs.
Baxter will be the head coach of men’s beach volleyball duo Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena, as well as women’s beach volleyball pair Lauren Fendrick and Brooke Sweat.
