WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team wrapped up play at the Old Gold & Black Invite with the final round Sunday at the Basham Courts at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
On the final day of competition, Ball State went 3-3 in doubles matches, taking on Purdue, IUPUI and Butler. Luke Wiese paired up with Khamasi Muhiga and took an 8-6 win over host Purdue's twosome of Ali Mooraj and Renan Hanayama. The duo also captured an 8-6 defeat over IUPUI's Eric Hollingsworth and Grant Weaver. The Cardinals' doubles tandem of Tom Carney and Collin Rigney rounded out the victories for the day, after defeating the Jaguars Kyle Whittaker and Grant Esposito, 8-6.
