MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team captured its first win of the spring season by sweeping Eastern Illinois 7-0 at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center Sunday afternoon.
In doubles play, Lucas Andersen teammed up with Andrew Stutz to take the first match from EIU. The twosome defeated Freddie O'Brien and Gage Kingsmith 6-2 on court one. Lucas Andersen's younger brother, Conner, along with Nemanja Guzina clinched the doubles point when they beat Trent Reiman and Grant Reiman 6-3 at the No. 2 doubles position.
Ball State went on to win singles play in straight sets in each position.
