MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (10-11) suffered a 6-1 loss in mid-week non-conference action to Butler (16-6) Wednesday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
It was quite the battle in doubles play today, as the Cardinals fell behind early to the Bulldogs, losing on court one first by a score of 6-1. Positions two and three were both down significantly at the start of their respective matches but managed to fight their way back to put themselves back into winning positions.
At two, sophomore Thibault de Negri alongside senior Tom Carney, were trailing the Bulldogs Adrian Mag and Aviv Ben Shabat, 3-5.
