MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team swept a double-header against Taylor University Friday night at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 10-2 overall for the spring season.
The Cardinals secured the double points in both of their matches against the Trojans sweeping all six matches. Ball State would take an early 1-0 lead heading into singles play in its doubleheader against Taylor University.
In singles action, Ball State went 12-0 against Taylor winning all 12 matches in straight sets. In the first match, Collin Rigney did not give up a game on court four defeating the Trojans Jake Herbruck, 6-0, 6-0.
