TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State men's tennis team (9-9, 1-2 MAC) came up short Friday afternoon in Mid-American Conference action, after suffering a 4-3 setback at Toledo (9-8, 2-1 MAC).
The Rockets were able to take the early 1-0 edge over the Cardinals after winning the doubles point. On court one, Marko and Nemanja Guzina fell first to Omar Espinosa and Luka Vitosevic, 6-4. Ball State's No. 3 duo of Chris Adams and Conner Andersen were able to make it 1-1 with their 6-3 take down over Juan Carranza and Cole Shoults.
