INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (9-8) dropped a close 4-3 decision at Butler (12-3) Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Cardinals took the early 1-0 edge over the Bulldogs after winning the doubles point. First off the court for Ball State was the No. 3 twosome of Marko Guzina and Patrick Downs. The duo took down Butler's Ari Gerstein and Alex Woldmoe by a score of 6-2. After that, Tom Carney alongside doubles partner Conner Andersen clinched the doubles point with their 6-3 victory over Aviv Ben Shabat and M.
