LAS VEGAS, Nevada - The Ball State men's tennis team fell to Montana at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon by a score of 4-3. The Cardinals dropped to 10-4 on the season with the loss.
In doubles play, the Cardinals took the early advantage after a 6-2 victory at the No. 2 spot. Montana responded with a win of their own after duo No. 77 Yannick Schmidl and Alex Canellopoulos took a 7-5 decision on the top court. But the Cardinals were able to close out on a high note as Chris Adams and Tom Carney clinched the point after a tight match with Ludvig Hallgren and Max Korkh, 7-6 (7-4).
