WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team opened fall action on a high note, dominating doubles competition against DePaul, Purdue and IUPUI at the Purdue Fall Invite.
In a hidden dual format, the Cardinals went 9-2 in doubles action by sweeping all four matches against IUPUI. The Cardinals would drop one match apiece to both host Purdue and DePaul.
Longtime Ball State head coach Bill Richards used a mixture of lineups throughout doubles play. Parrish Simmons and Vince Orlando played at the top spot against DePaul giving up only one point to the Blue Demons, winning the match, 6-1.
