ST. LOUIS - - The Ball State men's swimming & diving program saw another strong weekend of competition rewarded by the Missouri Valley Conference Wednesday with a pair of weekly league awards.
AJ Friend was named the MVC Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week, while junior Porter Brovont was named the MVC Diver of the Week for the first time in his career.
Friend remained undefeated in the 50 freestyle versus league foes, turning in a career-fast time of 21.33 to win the event in last Friday's dual at Miami.
