Men’s Hoops Falls at Toledo, Stays atop MAC West

TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Ball State men’s basketball team saw winning streaks of three games, both overall and on the road, snapped Tuesday with a 77-67 loss at Toledo.

Ryan Weber led the Cardinals with 18 points on 6-for-8 shooting from 3-point range, while Bo Calhoun and Francis Kiapway scored 10 points each.

Ball State (18-10, 9-6 Mid-American Conference) continues to lead the MAC West Division, one game ahead of Toledo and Central Michigan. In the overall league standings, the Cardinals are part of a four-way tie for the second-best record behind Akron’s 10-5 mark.
