BLUFFTON, S.C. -- The Ball State men's golf team is 10th through the opening two rounds at the Colleton River Collegiate.
The Cardinals posted a 36-hole score of 615 (311-304) Monday on the Dye Course at Colleton River Plantation Club.
College of Charleston posted the two lowest rounds of the day and grabbed a nine-shot lead on the rest of the 12-team field at 589 (+13). UConn (598) and North Texas (600) are the closest chasers.
Thomas Perrot of Memphis is the individual leader at 143 (-1). He is the only one of the 89 golfers in the field under par.
