MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men's basketball team added size at the guard position for its future rosters, signing another Indiana product and one from Illinois.
The Cardinals inked 6-foot-5 Jarron Coleman (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral HS) and 6-foot-6 Kani Acree (Carbondale, Ill./Carbondale Community HS) to national letters of intent.
Jarron Coleman
Coleman is a preseason first-team all-city selection heading into his senior season at Cathedral for coach Jason Delaney. He averaged 19.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists last year on his way to a spot on the Indiana Junior All-Star Team.
"Jarron is a very skilled guard who can score in a lot of ways," Ball State head coach James Whitford said.
