MUNCIE, Ind. — The fall sports season has officially come to an end for high schools around the state of Indiana.
This season saw some incredible teams represent East Central Indiana. Schools in Cowan and New Castle hoisted volleyball state championships at Worthen Arena. Monroe Central cross country and Winchester girls tennis won their first-ever sectional titles. Players and coaches across the board shed tears as their teams hoisted sectional, regional and semistate titles.
While there was plenty of team success among the eight Indiana High School Athletic Association sports, there were also some remarkable individual performances.
