MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men’s basketball team will host UT Martin on Sunday evening in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Tipoff time is still to be announced.
Ball State earned its spot in the second round with a 78-73 victory in double overtime Tuesday at Tennessee State. The Cardinals overcame a 17-point deficit with solid defense and hot second-half shooting to improve to 20-13 on the season.
UT Martin advanced Wednesday night with a 76-73 win at Central Michigan. The SkyHawks, who are 20-14, will be the second consecutive Ohio Valley Conference opponent for Ball State.
