MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball season ended in April, but junior Matt Walsh keeps bringing in the hardware. Walsh just received a plaque from the NCAA for finishing the season with a hitting percentage of .449, the best in the country.
Walsh was also second in the conference with 1.19 blocks per set. The Chicago native finished the season with 223 kills for an average of 2.24 kills per set. He also added 125 total blocks, 26 service aces and 13 digs. Walsh was honored as part of the All-MIVA First Team at the conclusion of the season along with an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American.
