CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ball State baseball player Matt Eppers was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week Monday afternoon thanks to his consistent performance in the four-game series against Dayton.
Eppers, a junior from Bristol, Indiana, led Ball State with a .615 batting average this past weekend against the Flyers. The outfielder tallied at least one hit and scored a run in all four games. Eppers recorded a two-run double in the 6-1 win over Dayton on Friday. In the series finale, Eppers equaled a team season high with four hits.
