MUNCIE, Ind. — Justin Hall is confident in Ball State's wide receivers corps heading into the 2021 season, and for good reason.
Last year, Hall, a First Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, led the group with 49 catches, 665 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He added 231 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground, as well. Behind him, Yo'Heinz Tyler, a Third Team All-MAC selection, finished with 607 receiving yards off 42 receptions and had a team-high eight receiving touchdowns.
The Cardinals' third leading receiver last season, Antwan Davis (39 catches, 466 receiving yards, one TD) left to pursue a professional career, but Ball State brought back and added various weapons who could play a big role among the pass catchers.
