MUNCIE, Ind. — Stan Parrish, a longtime college football coach died Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was 75.
He was a pivotal member on several historic football teams, including leading Marshall to its first winning season since the team's plane crash in 1970, winning a national championship at Michigan (1997), winning a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2003) and leading Ball State to an undefeated regular season in 2008.
Parrish spent six years of his coaching career, which spanned six decades, at Ball State, where he served as the quarterbacks coach (2005), offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach (2006-08) and head coach (2008-10).
