MUNCIE, Ind. — Yorktown alum Chandler Carroll was recently nominated for the 2017 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Since 1992, the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team has been one of the most coveted community service awards in college football, bringing together select student-athletes from all divisions of play to honor their dedication to volunteerism and enriching the lives of others.
Carroll, now a running back at the University of Chicago, serves as President of Order of the "C," which is the campus' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee that focuses on raising awareness for student-athletes as well as community service. He is also the football team's representative for the "It's On Us" campaign that raises awareness about sexual assault prevention.
