MUNCIE, Ind. — It's one of the most fun weeks of the year as boys basketball sectionals get underway Tuesday night. We are keeping track of all the action right here:
•Monroe Central lost a close one to 2A No. 4 Frankton 72-64 in the Class 2A Lapel Sectional. Israel Nash filled it up in his final high school game with 42 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter. The Golden Bears finish the season 11-11, while the defending Class 2A state champion Eagles improve to 21-3.
•New Castle defeated Hamilton Heights 70-51 in the Class 3A New Castle Sectional to advance to Friday's semifinals against Burris.
