Kayla Adamson added a 76 as the Cardinals posted a team score of 311 on the White Wing Course at Rio Verde Country Club. They also counted a pair of 80s from Kelsey Sear and Sydney Anderson.
Ball State is 16th as a team through one round. Bradley and Toledo lead the way at 298, while Northern Arizona is one shot back and Wichita State and Eastern Michigan are two back.
