FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Only one of the 75 golfers competing was better than Ball State's Liz Kim in the morning round Monday at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, and only three were better than teammate Hadley Moritz in the afternoon.
The pair kept the Cardinals afloat in a talented field of 13 teams. On a day when the scoring average was nearly 7 over par per round, Kim (72-75) and Moritz (76-71) finished 3 over and tied for fourth place through 36 holes at Ptarmigan Country Club.
