MUNCIE, Ind. — Heading into Christmas, Central boys basketball was 1-6 and had lost five straight games. There is talent on that team, but it wasn't meshing well enough to give the Bearcats a chance to win.
The holiday was like a breath of fresh air.
Central has won two of its last three games since, including a 55-43 win against Noblesville last time out. It is now 3-7 on the season with some winnable games on the second half of the schedule. So what has been the difference?
"Really just team bonding. Coach said he better not see us out in public if we’re not together or we’re running," sophomore Victor Young said with a smile.
