MUNCIE, Ind. — When Josh Miller shattered his ankle in high school, doctors told him he'd never play the same. They said he'd never get back to where he once was physically.
It was before his senior season and the cornerback hadn't yet committed to a college. The bad news scared away coaches that had been talking to him, which just about ruined his college prospects.
That is until Marian assistant coach Brock Caraboa, who Miller met at Plainfield High School, gave him his chance. "He said if wanted a shot, I could play," Miller remembers. He committed to the Knights and started a college football career.
