PORTLAND, Ind. — Coming into his senior year, Quinn Faulkner said it feels like he's playing on a new football team.
The Jay County running back has been playing for the Patriots' varsity team ever since he was a freshman. But this offseason, something's been changing in Portland. No, Faulkner's not on a new team, he'll still be wearing red, white and blue on Friday nights.
But there's a reason why this year feels different.
In February, it was announced that Hall of Fame Indiana high school football Grant Zgunda would be taking over the program.
