MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State sophomore point guard Jarron Coleman was named the MAC Player of the Week in men's basketball after leading the Cardinals to home wins over Kent State and Central Michigan.
Coleman scored a total of 50 points over the two wins, averaging 25.0 points per game to go along with 6.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds. The reigning MAC Freshman of the Year shot 67 percent from the floor (16-for-24) and 65 percent from 3-point range (11-for-17) for the week.
Coleman scored a career-high 26 points to go with six assists in a 90-71 rout of a Kent State team that entered the game third in the league standings.
