Jameson Ball State's Newest First Round Draft Pick

Ball State baseball coach Rich Maloney has framed photos of BSU's players who are selected in the first round of the MLB Draft. Currently, there are seven framed photos on the wall.

He's going to need a new frame.

Drey Jameson, a right-hander from Greenfield, Indiana, was selected 34th overall by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the MLB Draft on Monday night. The pick was announced by Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, who won a World Series with the Diamondbacks.

Each Friday Muncie was filled with pro scouts to see Jameson, who was voted by the conference's coaches as MAC Pitcher of the Year.
