MUNCIE, Ind. — Standing on Ball State’s football field inside Scheumann Stadium on Friday after practice, Jalen McGaughy spoke about his 2020 season at BSU with a degree of honesty and understanding.
There were times the wide receiver, then in just his second season with the program, knew he showcased his potential in games. Take a look at the two-touchdown, 100-yard receiving game he had in a win against Central Michigan. McGaughy smiled thinking back to how that first touchdown, his first ever in college, felt “unreal” and like a “miracle.”
There were times McGaughy was upset because he wasn’t playing as much as he would have liked.
