MUNCIE, Ind. — Delta's No. 1 doubles team of Brandon Jackson and Walker Boyle were the first ones off the court during Saturday's sectional championship match.
The two dominated in the victory, giving the Eagles their first win of the day as Delta went on to beat Muncie Burris 4-1 for its 28th consecutive and 30th overall boys tennis sectional championship.
Following his match, after a few congratulations, Brandon walked around the Delta tennis courts to the parking lot in front of the middle school. Standing underneath a tree, Brandon Facetimed his uncle, Daniel Jackson, who was a doubles player at Delta from 1998 to 2001.
