IU's Glass believes there will be (some) relief in football game travel

BLOOMINGTON – For yet another football season, Fred Glass has traffic worries.

But this fall, armed with years of trial and error in dealing with I-69 construction concerns, and bolstered by state government support in Indianapolis, the Indiana University athletic director is confident his department can help fans overcome or circumvent many of them.

“I think we’re in as good a position as we can be with (Ind.) 37,” Glass said.

I-69 construction, along Ind. 37 from Martinsville to Bloomington, has long been a headache for IU fans traveling south.
