MARION, Ind. — There was a time, before his senior season of high school soccer began, that Yorktown goalkeeper Hudson Bouw felt scared.
On top of the uncertainty that already existed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, his team’s season opener had to be canceled. Looking back on that now, Tigers coach Shane Guinn said they weren’t sure how much of a season they’d be able to have.
But as the weeks progressed, as August turned into September and then October, one game after another Bouw and his teammates were able to don their Yorktown jerseys and compete.
