INDIANAPOLIS — Fans of the Indiana Pacers will soon have another basketball team to support. The players for the upcoming team are unknown and almost certainly won't be as tall as the average NBA player.
The Pacers will own a team for the inaugural NBA 2K eLeague next year.
It will be a professional league where the best basketball gamers in the world compete in the NBA 2K video game for a championship similar to the NBA. The NBA and its partner, Take-Two Interactive Software, which makes NBA 2K, announced the 17 teams that have agreed to have acquire players and build a team.
