Ball State track and field athletes won three individual events in the Polar Bear Invitational March 24 in Marion, Ind.
Senior Michaela Hull won two events — javelin and discus. She threw a career-best 44.94 meters in the discus and 38.01m in the javelin.
Fellow senior Marie Lumpkin finished first in the hammer throw with a career-best distance of 55.40m. She also finished eighth in the discus with a 37.02m throw.
Junior Jordan Timmons competed in the 800m and earned a fifth-place finish with a time of 2:23.29.
Freshman Regan Lewis finished third in the javelin with a distance of 33.
