Indiana's 4th all-time scorer, Blackford graduate Luke Brown commits to Ball State basketball

MUNCIE, Ind. — Luke Brown is coming home.

Brown, who scored 3,011 career points at Blackford High School and finished No. 4 on the state's all-time scoring list, announced that he has committed to Ball State men's basketball on Twitter.

"Thanking God through my adversities, and my blessings," Brown said in the tweet. "I am coming HOME."

Brown, who had originally committed to Stetson, entered the transfer portal last week. Due to COVID-19, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound combo guard was never able to visit the school before announcing his commitment in July 2020.

Last year, Brown led Blackford to its first semistate appearance.
