MUNCIE, Ind. -- Incoming Ball State men's basketball player Luke Bumbalough was named Tuesday to the IndyStar Indiana All-Stars.
Bumbalough, who signed with the Cardinals in November, recently finished his senior season at New Castle High School, where he ranked second in the state in scoring at 31.2 points per game. The point guard shot nearly 50 percent from the floor and 42 percent from 3-point range, ranking third in the state with 122 treys.
Bumbalough scored 1,717 career points, second in New Castle's storied history only to Steve Alford. The two-sport athlete also held a football scholarship offer from Ball State after racking up 1,810 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior.
