MUNCIE, Ind. — As Ball State football coach Mike Neu reflected on his 2021 signing class Wednesday, as another signing period began, there was no denying how challenging the process of assembling a cohort of prospects was.
When Neu thinks about putting together a recruiting class, a key aspect of that journey is trying to bring recruits to campus and — especially with the ones who eventually sign — spending quality time with them in person. It’s an opportunity to showcase BSU’s campus, its facilities and more. And due to COVID-19 complications, that wasn’t possible during significant parts of the current cycle.
